1. Introduction
WiFi Connect - Signal Test is provided by SHIMUL JEWELLERS as a free application. The Application provides WiFi connection checking, signal testing, speed checks, network diagnostics, WiFi tools, password tools, a floating speed display, launcher-related home screen features, weather information, and wallpaper customization features.
The Application is offered "AS IS". This Privacy Policy applies to the Application and explains the permissions and data practices used to operate the features listed above.
2. Data Collection
The Application may access or collect the following categories of information, depending on your device, Android version, granted permissions, and selected features:
- Network and WiFi information, such as WiFi connection state, signal strength, network type, IP information, ping results, latency, download speed, upload speed, and connection quality values.
- Approximate and precise location permission signals when required by Android for WiFi scanning, nearby WiFi detection, WiFi diagnostics, and network signal features.
- Nearby WiFi device information when your Android version requires the Nearby WiFi Devices permission for WiFi discovery or connection-related features.
- Basic device and phone state information, such as device model, operating system version, app version, carrier or network-related state, and basic phone state values used for compatibility and diagnostics.
- Advertising and attribution identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID, Google Play install referrer data, and Android Privacy Sandbox or AdServices signals where available.
- Usage, diagnostics, crash, performance, and event data, such as feature usage, session information, errors, crash logs, and stability diagnostics.
- Notification or push-token information if service messages or push notifications are enabled on your device.
- Support information that you voluntarily provide, such as your email address and message content when you contact us.
Location and WiFi notice: Android may require location permission for WiFi scanning and nearby WiFi features. The Application uses this access to provide WiFi and signal functionality, not to continuously track your physical movement.
3. Data Use
We use accessed or collected information for the following purposes:
- To display WiFi status, signal quality, connection information, network speed, ping, latency, and diagnostic results.
- To support WiFi and network operations that require access to network state, WiFi state, nearby WiFi devices, changing WiFi state, or changing network state.
- To provide the floating speed display and related foreground service features, including display-over-other-apps access where you enable it.
- To support launcher functionality, home screen behavior, shortcuts, app access surfaces, weather information, and wallpaper customization.
- To set wallpapers or support wallpaper-related features when you choose to use them.
- To request package deletion only when you initiate app-management or uninstall-related actions through supported app features.
- To keep the device awake while active network tests or foreground tasks are running, so that speed tests and diagnostics can complete reliably.
- To provide vibration feedback and notifications for app actions, service states, or supported reminders.
- To verify app licensing, support Google Play distribution, measure installs, prevent fraud, analyze performance, fix crashes, and improve reliability.
- To display, measure, personalize where permitted, and protect advertising served through advertising and mediation partners.
4. Data Processing and Storage
Some feature data is processed locally on your device to show WiFi, network, launcher, wallpaper, and speed information. Some technical, advertising, attribution, analytics, crash, and diagnostic information may be transmitted to service providers that help us operate, secure, analyze, monetize, and improve the Application.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information associated with the Application. Data transmitted to service providers is expected to be handled through secure transport such as HTTPS or equivalent modern security measures.
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate, support, secure, analyze, monetize, and improve the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce applicable terms. Local feature data remains on your device until you clear app data, remove saved settings, or uninstall the Application. Third-party providers may retain data according to their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal and sensitive user data. We may share data with service providers, advertising partners, analytics providers, crash reporting providers, fraud prevention providers, legal authorities where required by law, or successor entities in connection with a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets.

The Application includes third-party SDKs and services for app distribution, analytics, crash reporting, attribution, advertising, mediation, push messaging, and network-delivered content. These services may process device information, identifiers, usage data, advertising signals, diagnostics, and network information according to their own policies.
